The job has limited second-chance hiring potential due to several restrictive factors. The role requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, which may exclude some individuals with non-traditional educational backgrounds or those who were incarcerated during their academic pursuits. The job also mandates a minimum of 6 years of progressive enterprise-level Workday experience, which is a highly specialized and technical field that may be difficult for recently incarcerated individuals to access. Additionally, the role requires Workday Financials Core Certification and additional module certifications, which are not typically accessible to individuals with incarceration histories due to limited access to training and certification programs. The job involves handling sensitive data and requires adherence to confidentiality and technological security, including HIPAA and PHI compliance, which are typically restricted to individuals with clean records. The role also requires regular, reliable attendance and the ability to work independently and take initiatives, which may be challenging for individuals transitioning from incarceration due to potential barriers such as housing instability or transportation issues. While the job does not require a criminal background check or specific licenses that would automatically disqualify individuals with records, the combination of educational, experiential, and certification requirements significantly limits second-chance hiring potential.
